When perusing for assets to utilize in level design, I often find myself lacking the exact thing I need to build a scene. One of the most common issues is the assets not matching the color schematic I wish to use. Fortunately, using Photoshop (or another graphic editing software), we can easily make adjustments like color!

Not a fan of this yellow.

In order to make the edits needed, I open up the Albedo Texture in Photoshop.

This Albedo Texture covers every inch of the ingame object.

Now I can add a hue and saturation layer on top of the background image.

Adding the new layer.

Now I can edit the sliders to get the color I need for the scene. I went for a blue-grey, with very muted color.

Realtime Edits.

Final Result:

Now all I need to do is replace the Base Map in Unity with this new texture

In Engine visual change.
